After three highly successful international conferences in 2004, 2006 and 2008, the Fourth International Conference on Schizophrenia [ICONS] is scheduled for October 22 to 24, 2010.

The theme for 2010 is "Schizophrenia & related disorders: advances, updates and reviews" IConS has had about 400 delegates from over a dozen countries including Switzerland, Canada, UK, USA, Hong Kong, Italy, Iran, Sri Lanka, Australia, Pakistan, Norway, New Zealand, Romania and India, ranking it among the best scientific conferences in the world.

Some of the speakers at IConS 2010 will be Graham Thornicroft, Dinesh Bhugra, Max Birchwood, Robin McCreadie, Alex Cohen & Craig Morgan from UK; Kim Mueser, Susan McGurk & Kim Hopper from USA; Itzhak Levav from Israel; Assen Jablensky, John McGrath, Bryan Mowry & T N Srinivasan from Australia; Ashok Malla & Ridha Joober from Canada and many eminent researchers from India.

Awards will be presented for best paper & poster by young researchers (under 35).
