| We are particularly interested in
1. cognitive scientists doing research on memory,
learning, attention, concepts, reasoning, problem solving,
and/or action;
2. candidates with expertise in behavioral and
evolutionary neuroscience. We are interested in individuals
who investigate both the evolution and the mechanisms of
behavior, considering its natural context.
3. candidates with expertise in social psychology and/or
personality research. We are interested in applicants with
research interests in judgment/decision-making, social
cognition, attitudes, emotion, culture, and
stereotyping/prejudice. Individuals in social/personality
with research expertise using neuroscientific/biological
approaches are especially encouraged to apply, including
those using MRI/fMRI electrophysiology, eye-tracking
techniques, physiological recordings, neuroendocrinology,
transcranial magnetic stimulation, and genetic and
epigenetic markers. Cornell University has recently built an
MRI/fMRI center on the Ithaca campus.
