| The Department of
Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst is
inviting applications for a tenure-track faculty position at
the Assistant Professor level in its Behavioral Neuroscience
Division, starting in fall 2013. Applicants must have a
Ph.D. in Neuroscience or a related discipline, an excellent
record of research with a productive, federally funded
research program or evidence of ability to establish one,
and strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate
education. The candidate will interact with a highly visible
group of neuro-endocrinologists working on rodent, avian,
and primate models, as well as other groups within the
Department and across campus. Ideal candidates will have a
strong program in one or more of the following areas:
stress, learning and memory, addiction, neurodegenerative
disorders, neuroimmunology, and/or neuroendocrinology.
Epigenetic, genetic, electrophysiological, pharmacological,
or neuroanatomical approaches are particularly desired. |
