Research experience (i.e., handling and testing) in
rodent behavioral domains. In particular, the successful
applicant will have experience in one or more of the
following behavioral analyses:
- Anxiety (e.g., open field test, hole board or elevated
plus maze task).
- Learning and memory (e.g., radial arm maze, object
exploration or fear conditioning).
- Aggression (e.g., resident intruder).
- Other social and schizophrenia-relevant behaviors.
Tertiary qualifications of at least BSc(Hons) level;
ability to work in a collaborative research team as well as
independently on a variety of experimental projects; good
communication skills and well-developed organizational
skills (e.g., statistical analyses, data presentation).
