Job Title: Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Neuropsychology

Description:

The Injury Outcome Research Program at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston invites applications for a 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowship.

The fellow will join a multidisciplinary team of investigators and clinicians on several federally funded research programs examining:

1. the impact of stress on neuroimaging, cognitive, psychological health, and salivary biomarkers following pediatric injury; and

2. multidimensional outcomes in pediatric and adult phase II clinical trials testing whether cellular therapies enhance outcomes after severe TBI.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have a background in neuropsychological assessment, research design and statistics, and a track record of publication of peer-reviewed papers. There are also opportunities to participate in outpatient clinical assessment activities.

Applicants should have a doctorate in psychology; however, we will also consider fellows with a strong research track record in other areas such as cognitive neuroscience, neuroimaging, or rehabilitation.
